Who We Are |
Founded in 2013, Cocktails & Cupcakes is a pop-up business that will help you celebrate any special event or gathering in your home, office, restaurant or banquet hall with a kiosk dedicated to cupcakes and cocktails...hence the name!
Cocktails & Cupcakes strives to use natural, fresh, local ingredients (primarily purchased from farmers markets) to craft both tried and true traditional, as well as innovative and original cupcakes that are sure to make you and your friends, family and co-workers smile! We also construct cocktails that pair perfectly with our cupcakes and can stand alone as a brilliant beverage to help you celebrate special occasions, or have an impromptu celebration just because it's the end of a long day or week. No matter the reason, we're excited to add some deliciousness to your day. And before you ask, the answer is "yes", we absolutely make boozy cupcakes that are too yummy to be missed! Be sure to check out our menu and make a reservation to order cupcakes and/or request we add special flair to your next event! We're happy to travel anywhere in North America to cater your next event, using natural, fresh, local ingredients that support your local economy! |

Tai Prince is a self-described "Military Brat", originally from Louisiana, who has lived all around the United States, and currently resides in Houston, Texas. As a child she spent her formative years learning how to cook and bake from her grandmother, who was such a prominent baker that she ran a pie-baking business out of her home to serve the community. Tai's grandmother also specialized in "cold cups": delicious homemade icicles that can be served in a variety of flavors.
While Tai's grandmother is the heart and soul of Cocktails & Cupcakes, it's her passion for making people happy and her attention to detail that make her a prolific baker in her own right. An engineer by training and trade, Tai has used baking as her way to connect with new friends and members of her churches in all of the communities she lived in, and it was from this practical field training and feedback that she decided to found Cocktails & Cupcakes, LLC. Tai is a people-person at heart. "I love seeing people happy, enjoying my food and drink", she says enthusiastically. "I wan't to be the world's best friend." |
